Walt Disneys production of Mulan reinforces the stereotyped gender role in our society today. Gender plays a large part in the way people may come back of things. A person with one mindset could think of an object one way while a person with another mindset could think of it differently. This film contributes to the realization of numerous standards people may consider prominent in the world. Mulan reinforces the stereotyped gender role by showing how she is just a girl who is looking for a man, contributing to the fact work force have more power than women, and once she obtains her man, she returns to a habitual feminine role and lives happily ever after.
