Company Background
Qtech was formed as a way of assisting intellectual nourishment processors, especially of thermally treated provender, in their need on
certifying their sterilization and pasteurization processes so as to meet domestic help and international food safety
regulations.
Since the 90s, our team became specialized in giving technical assistance to companies that produce canned
products which, delinquent to their long shelf life characteristics, require a strictly controlled preparati on process.
We are mastermindd to work with all food products and our background is based on the U.S. Food and Drug
arrangement (Low acid canned foods) regulations.
Since 1998, our Company has been working independently or together with PhF Specialists Inc. (an U.S.
consulting firm) in order to assist many treat companies in several S let onh American countries. We hold
carried out several validations for sterilization or pasteurization processes. In addition, we have conducted
sanitary and technical audits as well as HACCP programs audits.
Our team has participated in giving national and international training courses. In 1998 and 2002 we
organized training courses together with the U.S. Food Processors Institute (FPI).



These were courses to
prepare the technical personnel from canned food manufacturing companies (Better Process concur School).
With this association we have also translated into Spanish the latest HACCP and tinned food products
manuals.
Our team was part of Fundacion Chile, a company commit to bring new technologies to Chile. Since January
2002 the technical assistance area was externalized and QTech Ltda was formed. Nowadays, we halt on
doing projects together with Fundacion Chile.
QTechs headquarters are fit(p) in Santiago and it has got branches in Concepcion (VIII Region) and
Puerto Montt (X Region).
