Before president of the United States, considered by many to be the most powerful man in the world, Elie Wiesel delivered his linguistic communication The Perils of Indifference. non only is it powerful sentimentally, but it questions the actions of the office to whom he was speaking. Furthermore, his manner of speaking questions the actions of every person as to whether they are just or not. His mechanism of judgment is composure. Not only does he articulate the perpetrators of slimy, but the ones who took no action as well. Yet what makes this speech powerful is it has the ability to relate to and possibly persuade the earshot in an effective manner. This aspect grants him the power to fulfill his deportments endeavor which is to educate the audience of the evil of indifference and to learn from past mis purposes.
Elie Wiesel was a victim of the Nazi nuisance toward the Jews in World War II. He was sent to a ghetto and then to several concentration camps. He survived the horror and was change state by American soldiers, but he has been changed forever. Since then Wiesels purpose in life is to create peace and understanding. He has been writing and speaking to people around the world educating them on the cruelty and mistreatment that occurs.



Not only does he mention the Holocaust, he addresses other catastrophes such as Uganda, Kosovo, Ireland, Rwanda and many others. Among all of these examples Wiesel notes a common similarity, indifference. In his speech Wiesel explains why indifference is evil for it, among other reasons, is always the friend of the enemy, for it benefits the
aggressor -- never his victim, whose agony is magnified when he or she feels forgotten. Because indifference is, as Wiesel explains, corrupting and easily tempting, he has made his lifes purpose to educate people to take positive action. To not take action and stand idle hurts ones inhabit more than to try to facilitate them in the least.
