With only the illness that her father was enduring. I could
understand where he would call for to stop. But, I believe that
the Drs were more than likely correct when they urged him
non to. As, the morphine helps control the ail and relax
the body.
The hospital probably could non do anything more for her
father and sending him to a rehab midst where he would
hold up had more of a chance to perchance get one on one care
was probably the trounce option at the time.
One thin she is right rough is her father did have his right
to his choices and rights to refuse treatment, tube feeding
and even his medicines if he wanted.
The rehab and tube feeding possibly could have made it so,
he went class by October. But, with him developing what
they thought at commencement exercise was lung cancer hospice care would
probably had been the best option.
Since, he was so eager to
go to his home they could have taken him home and had
hospice come in and he would probably had been more

comfortable and relaxed. Im not saying he would have
been completely out of pain. But, he would have at least
relaxed more at home and probably not been in as much
pain as what he was in the hospital worrying. As worrying
seems to put more stress and pain on anyone.
Most people of his age most generally do request the stop of
tube feeding , medicines, etcetera they know when it is their
time to go. And, I think that them giving up like that is
probably the simplest counseling they know how to let go. Its
their way of preparing the family that it is their time to
leave this earth.
