Analysis Paper
Over the course of this class, we have completed ternion videos that display our skills and everything we have learned during the semester. When we first began this class, I was sincerely hesitant. Something like this in the past would have caused me to drop a class and find something that suited me better. Even though I dreaded the idea of the videos, I stuck with it. Im high-minded of myself for just attempting to show my skills in these videos. Now that they are any finished, I feel a sense of relief penetrative I dont have to record them anymore. Although I wasnt fond of the idea of videotaping these mock sessions, I great deal see how incredibly helpful they re entirelyy are. We can all practice the skills with each other, but when you video tape, you can truly see everything in action. You might see things you never regular(a) agnise happened in real magazine. Seeing your different ha chomps and how you reply to clients is a great learning exercise.
In my first recording, I was really neuronal. Like I said, I wasnt flavor forward to the videos. I had to constantly tell myself to relax and placate calm. In my video you can see some of my nervous habits take effect. I was all over the place in terms of my body language. I was leaning on the desk, play with my hands, and speaking in a nervous tone.
I wasnt quite sure how to run a session. Every time she would talk, Id just be trying to cast out what it is that I might enunciate next. Instead of perceive with my full attention, I was having a constant battle in my head with what I was supposed to say next. I realized after observance my video that I am withal active when it comes to head nods and uh huhs. After watching the video I actually realized that I do those a bit too often in my day to day life. Whenever I want to make it a point that I am listening to something important, I use excessive head nods and say ok and uh huh a lot. I also appreciated watching the video in front of the class.
