I decided to do my schoolroom ceremonial at Urbana High School. I observed tercet of Terry Connolly’s basketball classes on Friday October 23rd. This is a physical education class at Urbana high school that I actually had taken when I attended the school. My goal during this observation was to watch the interactions between the students and the interactions between Coach Connolly and his students. Another matter that I was interested in observing was if the teaching of the small fryren matches how the designated season group was described in the book. I want to sympathise if the book has a good description of how children this age substantial both physically and cognitively. The reason I choose to do my observation on this population was one because I treasured an excuse to visit my coach and I knew it would be weak to schedule a time with him and two because I admit been back and forth on whether or not I want to become a physical education teacher and I thought this would be a great fortune for me to see if I would really enjoy that career or not.
I had a chance to talk to my coach most cognitive break outment and he surprisingly gave me some very good insight. He told me about ways that the teacher crumb help to encourage positive and healthy cognitive development in the adolescents.
He said you can do things comparable include adolescents in discussions about a variety of topics, issues, and new events. Even if you talk about issues in sports it still gives the child a chance to have an opinion and make a stand on something. You can encourage adolescents to share ideas and thoughts with you. He said you can help adolescents to think independently and develop their own ideas. He said you can assist adolescents in setting their own goals. The last thing he mentioned and maybe the most important was to help adolescents to re-evaluate poorly made decisions so they don’t make the same mistake twice.
