Savad Garner Professor Cargonnen English 112B 8 November 2011 The Color of Skin The song White Lies is approximately a young little fille that is racial followed by her mother being Afro-American and her dad being white. This young missy was precise sad slightly the color of her skin. She feels if she would hurt told people that she is bi-racial, they would judge her and she would not be accepted. Being a combine child during the Civil Rights gallery was not accepted, but now a lot of mixed children ar not even accepting it themselves. There have been biracial children in the United States for a very pertinacious time basically since colonial times which was in the 1600s. horizontal though the United States has had a long history of biracial children its is still hard for it to be accepted in the country. Mixed children face a lot of challenges in their life. iodine of those issues are they feel they have to choose what race they should be. furthermost as black and white mixed people are usually considered to be African-African especially if they grew up in an African-American community (Nittle). Researchers states that biracial children should grow up in multicultural neighborhoods. Because the more types of race they surround there selves with while they are young then, they will accept their selves more.
