Events like, urban transposition and deindustrialization had devastating effects on the African American lower-class living in urban cities like, the Bronx and Los Angeles during the 1970s. M all of these families were left economically dislocated without anyone to look to and without any means of helping themselves. By closely examining urban variation and the deindustrialization of urban ghettos in America, it becomes clear not only wherefore rap music emerged, but why these two events argon embedded in raps tale. As a result of the enforcement of affirmative operation policies by black politicians, there was an increase in patronage opportunities for qualified African Americans. These job opportunities resulted in numerous African Americans joining the American on the job(p) middle-class.
