After the War For the new first gen agetion of Americans the war was a time for change for them. They really had no ties to the British regime and were striving to better the country as a wholly and make things better for the bulk as individuals. Some people just wanted personal independence by this they just wanted their own basis to work on for themselves, but before the American Revolution personal independence meant that you had to slang slave a tenants working on your land for you. The era after the Revolutionary War this just meant having your own land they could be worked on by the owner of the land with no slaves or tenants.

With the land they would keep it in the family and just tour it down to their children. Most Americans just wanted independence and prospect to change and make the country the best that it could be. People from the normality wanted to abolish slavery and let the slaves be isolated of the country, while the South thought that slaves had no place to be involved at all in the country.
